WalkSuite

Presentation centre software

Sell the suites before the building opens.

WalkSuite is presentation centre software for lease-up and new development. It turns architectural floor plans and renderings into an interactive tour on the iPad, kiosk and lobby screen, and keeps availability honest as suites are reserved.

The problem

Selling a suite nobody can walk into yet.

During pre-leasing and lease-up, the building is a hole in the ground or a shell behind hoarding. Families are asked to commit to a home they cannot stand in, so the presentation centre has to do the work the building will do later: show the layout, the light, the view and what life will be like on each floor.

The usual kit is a physical model, rendering boards and a binder of suite plans. They look good on opening day, then fall behind. Suites are reserved, a floor plan is revised, a second phase is released, and the printed board on the wall no longer matches what the counsellor can actually offer.

How it works

WalkSuite in a presentation centre.

Start from plans and renderings

We digitize your architectural floor plans into interactive suite maps and prepare the 3D building views from your renderings. There is nothing to film and nothing to wait for on site.

Show exactly where each suite sits

Families swipe around a photorealistic view of the building with suite outlines locked in place on every angle. The live compass and each suite's facing direction answer the questions that matter before move-in: morning or evening sun, courtyard or street.

Keep the board honest during lease-up

Mark suites as available, on hold, occupied or model, one at a time or a whole floor at once. When a deposit comes in, your staff put the suite on hold and every screen shows it, so the team never presents a suite that is already spoken for. Read more about live suite availability.

Put it on every screen in the room

The counsellor guides the tour on an iPad, a kiosk welcomes walk-ins behind a PIN and a branded welcome, and the same tour runs on the lobby TV, including older smart-TV browsers, with images optimized to load fast on any connection.

Included

Built for lease-up.

3D building tour

Swipe around a photorealistic view of your building. Suite outlines stay locked in place on every angle, with a live compass.

Interactive 2D floor plans

Tap any suite to open it. Filter by suite type, pinch to zoom, and highlight amenities right on the plan.

Live suite availability

Available, on hold, occupied or model, shown on the plan and on every suite. Your staff update it themselves, one suite or a whole floor at a time.

Lobby screens and smart TVs

Runs on the lobby TV too, including older smart-TV browsers, with images optimized to load fast on any connection.

Send me my tour

Families leave with their tour: a QR code and a branded email of the suites they saved, with a note from their counsellor.

Dashboard and reports

Sessions, suites viewed, tour length, the tour funnel, busiest times, a suite heatmap and the available suites families overlook.

Canada and the US

Presentation centre or sales center, same job.

In Canada the space is usually a presentation centre, sales centre or discovery centre. In the United States it is a sales center, information center or leasing office. Whatever your team calls it, the job is the same: help a family picture a home that is not built yet, and leave them with a reason to come back.

WalkSuite is made in Vancouver and works with independent living, assisted living and memory care communities and developers in Canada and the United States. Suites carry their care level alongside size, layout and facing, so mixed-care buildings are presented clearly from the first tour.

Planning checklist

Getting a presentation centre ready.

  • Decide what families must understand in ten minutes. Usually the building, the suite mix, the amenities and the care levels. Build the tour around that path.
  • Gather the assets early. Floor plans for every floor, the suite list with sizes and types, renderings, the amenity list and any photography of the neighbourhood.
  • Name an owner for availability. One person updates suite status the day a deposit lands, so every screen tells the same story.
  • Plan the screens. An iPad per counsellor, a kiosk for walk-ins and a lobby display cover most rooms.
  • Plan the follow-up. Families rarely decide on the first visit. Let them take their shortlist home with tour follow-up.
  • Watch what draws interest. The dashboard shows which suites families open, which available suites get overlooked and when the centre is busiest.

FAQ

Presentation centre questions.

Can we use WalkSuite before the building is finished?

Yes. WalkSuite works from architectural floor plans and renderings, so it suits a presentation centre or sales center during pre-leasing and lease-up, before any suite can be toured in person.

What happens to the tour once the community opens?

It carries on. The same floor plans, 3D building and suite cards move to the sales floor, and we keep floors, suites and photography current for you, so renderings can be replaced with photography as it arrives, live the same day.

Can availability come straight from our property management system?

Not today. Your staff update availability themselves from their own admin, one suite or a whole floor at a time. Reading availability straight from Yardi, Entrata and Sherpa is on our roadmap.

How is WalkSuite priced for a presentation centre?

The same way as any community: a one-time setup and an annual subscription per community, with unlimited devices and users. Operators and developers with several communities receive portfolio pricing.
